Airports

Flying? Devens is equidistant from Boston Logan Airport (BOS) in Massachusetts & Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) in New Hampshire. (It's just over an hour by road either way.)

Ground Transportation from Airports: Planet Tran will coordinate ground transportation from Boston Logan and Manchester New Hampshire airports.

Although you will register individually, Planet Tran will coordinate your schedules by airline and arrival time, then group you in appropriately sized vehicles and split the shuttle costs accordingly. Planet Tran has a fleet of green vehicles that range from a three passenger Toyota Prius, nine-passenger hybrid van and can schedule large buses.  In order to reap the benefits of ride-sharing you must book ahead.  Post your itinerary on the GRRN carpooling board (now closed) to encourage others to do the same.

Carpooling and Ridesharing Information

Driving to the conference? Need to share a ride from the airport? (Carpooling link now closed.) If you're carpooling from the airport make arrangements about what to do if one traveler's flight is delayed. (Note: The erideshare site is primarily for those who are carpooling using private vehicles or rentals, but please also post your reservation for Planet Tran to encourage others to book and reduce costs.)

Recreation and Local Information

Less than an hour from Boston, the community of Devens has over 2,200 acres of open space bordering the Nashua River. You won’t need to travel far from the conference site to enjoy the fantastic autumnal colors during the peak of fall foliage season.
